Normann Copenhagen Edge

Edge was designed based on minimalist design principles to achieve a timeless yet captivating expression. The table is made entirely of travertine, an interesting and timeless material known for its extraordinary structure and unique patterns. To minimize unnecessary waste, Edge was designed to utilize the way the travertine material is extracted. The natural stone is quarried from a travertine quarry and then cut into slabs of various sizes. The Edge Coffee Table is entirely composed of square travertine slabs in different sizes, assembled in a simple, geometric construction. The geometric design of the table casts fascinating shadows and gives the design a dynamic expression. Edge features minimalist, clean lines that provide a complementary contrast to the dynamic interplay and organic appearance of the natural material. Overall, it is a simple design that highlights the natural travertine stone and possesses the extraordinary ability to seamlessly integrate into any decor.
