Hella felt ball rug. A rug made from 100% virgin wool - you could hardly wish for anything more cosy and homely for your home. The Berlin-based company myfelt is fully committed to the development and manufacture of these naturally beautiful and durable rugs. Essentially, each rug is based on two things: Many New Zealand sheep that are sheared to produce the wool and the support of a manufactory in Nepal. There, the wool is sorted, washed, dyed and milled into balls using a patented process. These felt balls are then used to create a complete wool rug - a kind of wool-felted mosaic - each with its own characteristic colour pattern: the Hella felt ball rug in flatteringly beautiful, light natural colours. For the largest formats, myfelt has up to 50,000 felt balls individually sewn by hand, always in strict compliance with economic fair trade and European labour protection regulations: Each felt ball rug bears a GoodWeave seal as a corresponding certificate.
