Lyngby Porcelæn was founded in Kgs Lyngby in 1936. Between 1936 and 1969, the company had a strong influence on Danish design and porcelain production with the Lyngby Vase and with designers such as Axel Brüel. After 43 years of silence, Lyngby Porcelæn reappeared on the market in 2012. The company behind the famous Lyngby Vase was once one of the largest porcelain manufacturers in Denmark and was acquired by the Rosendahl Design Group in 2016.
