For an effective blackout effect, we recommend choosing dark curtains in black, gray, dark blue, or green, as these shades block sunlight especially well, creating darkness in the room. If you prefer curtains in lighter colors such as white, ecru, or beige, we recommend complementing them with a thermal lining to shield the light. With lighter colors, some light can always penetrate, especially in south-facing windows. In this case, using the lining will achieve effective blackout.
