Our note: While coconut fiber mats can be left outdoors year-round, they do not tolerate constant moisture (prolonged rain or continuous snow) or excessive exposure to intense sunlight or heat. This can damage the natural fibers, which is why the mats should only be placed in protected, covered outdoor areas. During cleaning and use, the mats may shed a small amount, but this is normal and due to the natural fibers.
