Iittala Vakka storage box

Vakka Storage Box. A guardian of order from the Finnish brand iittala, capable of meeting strict residential requirements: Aalto & Aalto design containers with lids made from steam-bent birch plywood, which impress with their functional and comfortable shapes. The boxes come in two heights and two colors, can be stacked, and blend seamlessly with the interior. Optionally, the unpainted models feature contrasting edge details, making it easier to categorize and remember the contents of the boxes. The best part is that the unpainted wood of the boxes will naturally darken over time. Each box can hold a maximum weight of 25 kilograms, regardless of its size. The Vakka Storage Box from iittala is not only convincing as a shelf box but also serves as a side table or nightstand when stacked. Awarded the iF product design award 2014.
