TS Desk Desk by Gubi
The TS Desk was designed by the duo GamFratesi for the brand Gubi. The name of the extensive TS collection refers to the famous gourmet restaurant The Standard in Copenhagen, which was to furnish the collection. However, the stylish furniture is not only suitable for the gastronomy sector but also makes a real statement in private settings. The TS collection includes not only desks but also lower tables and models with marble tops.
GamFratesi Design for the TS Desk
The design of the TS Desk is reminiscent of the Art Deco style of the 1930s, which was reflected in both architecture and interior design. The table does not rest on four legs like a conventional table, but rather on six. The three crossbars attached on three sides are closely connected, forming an interesting geometric pattern. The legs have a diameter of 2.2 cm and, like the entire frame, are made of dark-painted metal. The tabletop consists of a 1.2 cm thick marble slab.
