Georg Jensen - Bloom Botanica Vase, 15 cm

The inspiration for Bloom was the shape of an open Japanese cherry blossom. Its delicate, soft contours are expressed in the gently curved yet modern lines of Bloom. Organic shapes embody Scandinavian nature in the collection designed by Helle Damkjær.

The small Bloom Botanica Vase captures the moment when a flower bud opens to reveal its petals, expressing the optimism of new life in spring. Whether filled with colorful flowers or decorated with other vases from the Bloom collection, its sculptural elegance adds a strong design element to any home decor.

Designer Helle Damkjær loves working with her hands and carefully creates each piece from white clay to ensure the shape is perfect. As a result, her objects feel noticeably softer despite being made of hard stainless steel. This is how Bloom came to be.
