The d-c-fix window films can be easily applied to all vertical, intact window panes as well as plexiglass sheets. However, they are not suitable for skylights and roof windows. Before applying the film, it should be carefully checked whether a pane may be pre-damaged. In this case, it should not be used, as the film can intensify thermal stress, potentially leading to glass breakage. Generally, however, the d-c-fix films do not cause glass breakage, although they may trigger it in some cases with pre-damaged windows.
