To paint, the surface of the dish must be clean, grease-free, and dry to ensure optimal adhesion of the paint to the glass surface. To ensure that the paint withstands daily use in the household, we recommend choosing a marker type whose color is dishwasher-safe after being set in a regular oven. Additionally, the transparent bottom of the glass dish can be decorated, for example, with decoupage. For this, a varnish or glue that adheres to glass must be used. Decoupage varnish for glass or porcelain is set in the oven and can then be wiped clean with a damp cloth. A silicone-based adhesive like Clear Multi Glue Gel is also waterproof after drying and can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
