The dream catcher is a cultural object of the Native Americans. According to belief, it is supposed to improve sleep. The dream catcher was hung above the resting place, such as a bed or tipi: Good dreams pass through the net to the sleeper, while bad dreams get caught in the net and are neutralized by the morning sun.
