The original designs of these cozy pieces from the brand by Lassen date back to 1962: they were conceived as a deliberate and strong argument against any ornamentation and lavish decoration, consistently adhering to minimalist principles and mathematical precision. Originally, the candle holders and bowls were not intended for mass production by their creator, Mogens Lassen; he had them made in exclusive small batches for his family and friends. Nevertheless, they quickly gained a worldwide reputation among architects and connoisseurs – not least due to their references to the timeless style of the Bauhaus school. Line candle holder.
