Berk Shiva mit Steinen verziert

Shiva, whose name means "kind" or "gracious," embodies many opposites within himself: He is benevolent and malevolent, meditative and ecstatic, a god of the cosmos yet particularly fond of certain earthly places like Mount Kailash and the city of Benares. Shiva is worshipped in many forms, as the great yogi (Mahayogi) who practices asceticism or dedicates himself to meditation, as the great lord of the world, or as the lord of dance, Nataraja, who dances away ignorance beneath his feet and destroys everything that is not based on truth and love. The ongoing great cleansing period of our planet is thus symbolized by Shiva Nataraja. Made of brass, partly adorned with stones, in red, blue, and green, size: approximately L. 16 x W. 10 x H. 24 cm.
