Joel enjoys using various materials and textures in his work as a food photographer: in addition to ceramics and wood, textiles are also included. Therefore, it was a natural step to launch his own towel series! Our first towels are available in three colors: navy blue, olive, and white.

Pre-washed and organic quality
We want your towel to change only minimally after washing, so we had them pre-washed. During the first few washes, a towel always shrinks - including this one. That’s why we made this towel 30% larger and pre-washed it several times, so this shrinkage process doesn’t happen at home. The towel you hold in your hand will remain 95% the same as it was before the first wash at home. Depending on whether the towel is dried hot in the tumbler, it may shrink slightly more.

Olive green waffle towel
The olive-colored towel gets an exciting hue from the combination of different shades. The yarns, woven in various directions, are made from differently dyed organic cotton. Upon closer inspection, two different olive green tones can be seen. Additionally, there is a white "accent stripe" in the upper and lower third as another decorative element. The ends are particularly beautiful with fraying at the top and bottom.

Organic quality and fair production
The towels are made from 100% organic cotton and are fairly produced in South India by our GOTS-certified partner. The GOTS certification process is the strictest existing control system, which not only checks for the avoidance of harmful pesticides and adherence to organic guidelines but also social aspects such as workplace safety and fair wages.
