In 1993, Aldo Rossi designed the simple and elegant Momento wall clock for Alessi. The design is reminiscent of the wristwatch and pocket watch of the same name, which were also created by Aldo Rossi. In the early 1990s, Aldo Rossi originally designed a striking yet timelessly elegant clock for the Italian brand Alessi. Shortly thereafter, he transformed the extremely wide ring around the dial into an impressive wall version. While the original Momento wall clocks were made of fireproof coated aluminum, today's version is crafted from exquisite mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel. The most impressive aspect of the Momento wall clock is its timeless design. In collaboration with Momento, the late designer Aldo Rossi, who passed away in 1997, succeeded in creating a true design classic, whose value remains preserved over many years.
