Inspired by the magic of the underwater world, jewelry designer Emma Silvestris created Mediterraneo, a "mermaid-like" fruit bowl that derives its charm and intrigue from the contrast between its soft, delicate shape and the hard material.
Gently, the plant-like arms stretch upwards towards the water's surface. Clearly, the bowl is inspired by coral, and the name Mediterraneo lives up to its promise.
With Mediterraneo, Emma Silvestris has succeeded in creating a form full of lightness from pressed and stamped steel.
