Inspired by the magic of the underwater world, jewelry designer Emma Silvestris created Mediterraneo, a "fairy-tale" fruit bowl that derives its charm and tension from the contrast between its soft, delicate shape and the hard material.
The plant arms, reaching upwards towards the water's surface, seem to move gently. Clearly, the bowl is inspired by coral, and the name Mediterraneo lives up to its promise.
With Mediterraneo, Emma Silvestris has succeeded in creating a form full of lightness from pressed and stamped steel.
