Alessi La Stanza dello Scirocco

"La Stanza dello Scirocco" is a family of objects designed by Mario Trimarchi for the kitchen or the living room, which originates from the thoughtful and quiet atmosphere of a magical place: from the room inside the big old country houses in Sicily, where you stayed to escape the sultriness and where you waited until the dreaded Scirocco wind finally died down. A room without windows, where you do nothing but think about the wind that is out there, whirling the things of the world. The result is a collection of asymmetrical objects with arythmic geometric shapes, consisting of small plates of different sizes that are only connected to each other at individual points in a seemingly fragile construction.
