Inspired by traditional woven willow baskets, Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui have created a novel and original object that gracefully plays with the shapes of this age-old craftsmanship. The laser-drilled steel sheet is then shaped through a series of mechanical manufacturing steps, once again showcasing the skill of the Alessi workshops in working with this metal.
