Talens Stretcher frame 60 x 120 x (2 x 4.5 cm)

Talens offers a wide selection of high-quality stretched canvases. The canvas is made of 100% linen, weighs 360 g/m², and has a medium texture with 12.5 x 12.5 threads/cm². The frame of this canvas is 2 x 4.5 cm thick. To support the frame construction, the canvas is reinforced with two additional slats that form a cross.

Why linen?

Linen is a robust material with a characteristic texture that is often used for oil paint and is heavier and more durable than cotton. This makes it ideal for use with heavier materials, such as smaller objects, various painting mediums, and thicker layers of paint. Linen can be stretched tighter than other materials, minimizing the risk of the canvas warping or distorting. Talens also offers a wide range of cotton canvases.
