Good day. The battery compartment of the safe is on the outside and can be opened in an emergency by means of the factory code. You can find the manual under "Downloads", page 9.
The safe should not be fixed to a wall as this will affect the fire resistance. Therefore, this safe is fixed to the floor. You can find detailed assembly instructions under Downloads.
According to the operating instructions, it must be sent to the manufacturer. However, you will receive a replacement.
