Yes, that works very well for me. My network shares are on a Synology NAS. However, the resulting PDFs are not OCRd, which I then do with Adobe.
According to the data sheet: "Output tray capacity: up to 150 sheets, up to 25 envelopes" There is only one tray.
Unfortunately, I can only answer your question in relation to the previous model. We have the 8620 and the printer displays a message on the screen that it cannot print in colour because a cartridge is empty. I can then confirm that I only want to print b/w and it will stop printing. It's a bit awkward because I have to do this for every job. As far as I know, the message also appears when I say in the settings that I want to print in black and white.
Hello Bjoc, I also bought this printer six months ago. If it's OK with me, ink cartridges are indeed already included. Because I just saw in my order history that I did not reorder ink cartridges until half a year later. Sincerely, LN
Have you ever looked under "Technical specifications > Scanner properties"? You might find the information you are looking for there. Maybe.....
Only the power cable is included, no USB or network
I had only tried out the printer briefly, then forwarded it on. As I can see, there is no difference in length/width, "compact version" and "folded out". As far as I can see, there is nothing to "fold out", except the feeder at the top, and that goes up. Why don't you take a quick look in a shop? Maybe at Fust, Interdiscount or the like where the machine is on display.
