Product details

Herbin, 5 kg Plasticine, hardness grade 60. The modeling material retains its firmness and leaves no residue when drying. The casting material does not deform after the model is created, as it possesses excellent stability. Plasticine does not dry out in the air: you can work on and change your model as often as you like. It can be softened, for example, with your hands, a heat gun, or a hairdryer; it hardens again when cooled in the refrigerator. Packaging: tube, lined inside with sulfur paper and 2 end caps made of polypropylene. Plasticine is a very precise modeling paste with high stability that never dries out in the air, which allows it to be worked on and modified as often as necessary. It is also used in industry (automotive, aerospace) for creating prototypes or molds. Artists also use Plasticine, for example, for reproducing models. The precision of reproduction is accurate to within 0.1 mm.

Ingredients and instructions for use

Instructions for use
Plastiline 5kg, Hardness 60 Plastiline can be used for the research and creation of models in sculpture, the production of decorations and the manufacture of moulds, the restoration of works of art and decoration and, in industry, the taking impressions and making prototypes. Plastiline retains its volume and never air dries. You can therefore resume your model as many times as necessary. Convenient for people wishing to start or improve in modelling! It is also ready to use for a clean, quick and easy application. High precision (1/10th of a millimetre). Hard, hardness 60 is to work more with tools such as the roughing tool, mirette and knife of form. The increase in hardness allows work of meticulousness and expression of detail. Several Plastiline hardness's can be used on the same model. Use: Soften with the hands, with a heat gun or with a hair dryer to work it more easily. Liquid, in a bain-marie at a temperature between 40 and 50 , respecting the melting point and stirring it well to mix the oils it contains. This operation can be done a maximum of 5 times without altering its qualities. Just put it in the fridge to harden it. Delivery in a tube with interior covered with parchment paper. Hermetically protected by 2 polypropylene end caps, the Plastiline is easy to store. It remains clean and retains all its qualities. Can be painted with acrylic paints or covered with a layer of shellac previously diluted in alcohol..
