1. Place the empty container on the weighing plate and tare at the touch of a button (TARE).
2. Fill the reference quantity of the counted quantity into the container (5, 10, 20, or any quantity).
3. Confirm the selected reference quantity by pressing the button (5, 10, 20, or any quantity).
4. Fill the counted quantity into the container. The number of pieces is shown directly on the display.

Accurate counting is ensured with automatic reference optimization, which gradually improves the average value of the part weight. The KERN Universal Port (KUP) allows the connection of external KUP interface adapters, such as RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet, for exchanging data and control commands without installation effort. The KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) allows the balance to be queried and remotely controlled via external control devices or computers.

Two balances in one: switch from counting mode to weighing mode at the touch of a button. A ring-shaped draft shield is included as standard, with a weighing chamber size of 90 mm in diameter and 40 mm in height. A protective work cover is also included in the scope of delivery.
