Interstellar

Sci-Fi feature written and directed by Christopher Nolan, the director of 'The Dark Knight' trilogy. Set on a resource-poor Earth in the near future, the discovery of a wormhole that can transport users through time and space brings together scientists and explorers on the most important mission in human history. Among the potential travelers is a widowed engineer who must decide whether to stay with his two children or test the limits of human space travel to discover if there is a future for humanity among the stars or if the end of Earth means the end of humanity. Oscar-winning Hans Zimmer returns to collaborate with Nolan and compose the film's score. The cast includes Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, and Anne Hathaway. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won the award for Best Visual Effects.
