The SPS safety package (Safety Protection System) features a patented, electronically controlled safety flap in the feed opening for protection against fingers, ties, or splinters when shredding CDs and DVDs. It includes a multi-function switching element, EASY-SWITCH, with integrated operator guidance through color signals and lights.

The shredder has an automatic reverse with an automatic shut-off to prevent paper jams and shuts off automatically when the shred bin is full. It also has electronic door protection via a magnetic switch and double motor protection against overheating. The zero energy standby mode ensures complete, automatic mains disconnection after 15 minutes.

A light barrier allows for automatic start and stop, while ECC (Electronic Capacity Control) provides a patented display of capacity utilization during shredding. The automatic oil injection on the cutting rollers during shredding ensures consistently high cutting performance. With a working width of 405 mm, it is suitable for EDP lists and large formats.

The long-life solid steel cutter shafts are made of hardened special steel and come with a lifetime guarantee when used as intended. It shreds even the most popular CDs and DVDs quietly, powered by a particularly powerful 1600 watt AC motor for continuous operation. The robust, enclosed gearbox and high-quality, mobile wooden cabinet enhance its durability.
