The SPS safety package (Safety Protection System) features a patented, electronically controlled safety flap in the feed opening for finger and tie protection. It includes a multi-function switching element "EASY-SWITCH" with integrated operator guidance through color signals and lights. The automatic reverse with automatic shut-off prevents paper jams, and the shredder automatically shuts off when the cuttings container is full. It also has electronic door protection via a magnetic switch and dual motor protection against overheating. The zero energy standby mode ensures complete, automatic mains disconnection after 15 minutes. A light barrier allows for automatic start/stop, and the SSC - smart shred control features a smiley on the EASY-SWITCH switch to indicate current capacity utilization during shredding. The shredder has a comfortable working width of 240 mm and long-life all-steel cutter blocks made of hardened special steel, backed by a lifetime guarantee for proper use. It is powered by a smooth-running, powerful 390-watt AC motor and features a robust, enclosed gearbox. The high-quality, mobile wooden base cabinet includes a practical cuttings container made of impact-resistant plastic with a 35-litre collection volume.
