How it works: You mark a banknote with the pen, preferably on a light spot at the edge of the note, and wait a moment.

Result:
Real money - The mark fades to a slightly yellowish color and is hardly noticeable later.
Counterfeit money - The mark is very dark and clearly visible.
Alternatively, you can shine the built-in UV lamp on the banknote, which will fluoresce if it is genuine.
