Since his childhood, young Jim has dreamed of searching for the legendary planet where the pirate Flint is said to have hidden a mysterious treasure. When Jim accidentally comes into possession of a treasure map, he embarks on the greatest adventure of his life. Jim is convinced that the treasure planet lies somewhere at the end of the universe.

Together with the astronomer Dr. Doppler, he sets off into the vastness of space. On the space galleon "Legacy," he quickly befriends the ship's cook, John Silver, a cyborg who is half human, half machine. He also has a lot of fun with Morph, a hyperactive shape-shifter.

But then Silver takes command of the "Legacy" - he wants the treasure all for himself. Fortunately, Jim meets B.E.N., the lovable, slightly eccentric android.
