"Dia de Muertos," the Day of the Dead, is a traditional holiday when friends and family come together to honor their beloved deceased, offering them sugar skulls and flowers to support their spiritual journey. On this very day, Miguel accidentally sets off an incredible chain reaction that actually transports him to the Land of the Dead, allowing him to finally uncover a centuries-old family secret. Miguel encounters both extremely dead and quite lively characters, experiencing incredible, surprising, and unimaginable events that ultimately culminate in a family reunion of a rather unique kind. Because the essence of remembering the dead is to celebrate life.
