Artdeco Double Sharpener

The specially shaped cutting edge of the Double Sharpener For Wooden Pencils is the result of the interplay of high-quality blade material, the perfect grinding and the optimum firing temperature in the hardening furnace. Both thick and thin cosmetic wooden pencils can be cut particularly finely and precisely with the very sharp blade - without splintering wood. The transparent sheath enables precise sharpening: Finally, no more "over-sharpening" and annoying lead breaking! In case something has gone wrong, with the enclosed cleaning pencil, sharpener residues on the cutting edge can be removed quickly and easily. Packaging: Consists of at least 85% MATER-BI material and about 15% bioplastic (PLA and Bio- Polyester), which guarantees the stability of the material. The main ingredients for the production of MATER-BI are corn starch and oils from non-genetically modified plants, which are cultivated in Europe in the traditional way. It should be noted that EU-wide only 1% of all corn starch is used for bioplastics. In terms of agricultural land used, less than 0.02% of arable land worldwide is used for the production of bioplastics. To produce the raw materials for 1kg of Mater-Bi, on average only 15-30 litres of water are needed to irrigate the plants - an amount that is actually of minimal importance to the Earth's water resources. Reduced carbon dioxide emissions are also a given, as no crude oil is used, as in the manufacture of conventional plastics. The material of the sharpener is biodegradable. The blades of the sharpener are made of high quality high carbon steel and not stainless steel. Thus, they rust and disintegrate.

Application

Use the thinner side of the sharpener for thin wooden pencils and sharpen thicker pencils with the thicker side.
