Actually, 72-year-old Arthur (Terence Stamp) is a shy and grumpy old man. But when, at his old age, he decides once again to become a member of a choir, his attitude to life is supposed to change completely. Thus the charming choir director Elizabeth (Gemma Arterton) brings new and almost forgotten joie de vivre to Arthur.
