Hauck Stop 'N Safe: This model is a simple safety gate that is mounted between two walls or in door frames. It has a manual locking mechanism that children cannot open. Hauck Close 'N Stop: This model also has a "Close" function, which means that it closes and locks automatically as soon as you let go. This can be particularly useful if you have your hands full and cannot close the gate manually. Hauck Open 'N Stop: This model has an "Open" function, which means that it can be opened in both directions. This can be more convenient in certain situations, depending on which way you want to open the gate.

You could probably get away with fixing it against the banister post. That said we had a staircase on one side and we fixed it directly into as it was made from wood… hope that helps!

Good evening The connection between the door and the extension is only solved by two pins. The construction already reacts shakily to pressure (which is necessary for assembly alone). We had a 21 cm and a 9 cm extension on our door, which was already very wobbly. I doubt very much that two doors will hold at all. Try it out and let me know ;)

Hello Oskar, the thing worked perfectly for months until my grandchildren could walk well. My suggestion is to attach a 5x5 cm wooden strip to the wall and then attach the Hauck Close'n Stop including a 9 cm extension (84 cm). Kind regards Franz Eichmann Giessenstrasse 23 8608 Bubikon

exactly, without the extension it was too small and with the extension it was too big... but I was able to cut the extension very easily to fit my width. I was able to cut the extension very easily to fit my width, just needed a hacksaw.

I had exactly the same problem. In principle, you can also clamp the 75-81 cm version in an 83 cm door frame. However, you then have to unscrew the clamping screws further than Hauck officially "allows". So you do this at your own risk. My assessment: If it is at ground level (i.e. simply separating the access to a room), then this is not a problem. If the door protection is to be used as fall protection when going down stairs, I would personally advise against it.

Manufacturer item # 596937, Galaxus item # 3455493 should fit. Unfortunately, it is in a different colour, but you have the possibility to exchange it at Galaxus and get the right size, then you will have exactly what you need and in the right colour combination.

I have this product in my holiday home and therefore cannot check it. I have mounted it on a plastered wall with the enclosed plastic discs. These discs are approx. 1 cm thick on both sides. On a smooth surface, it would probably be possible to mount it without these discs and thus the 95cm would also be feasible.
