With this 21 cm metal extension, the Hauck safety gates and stair gates Clear Step, Autoclose N Stop, Autoclose N Stop 2, Open N Stop, and Stop N Safe 2 can be quickly expanded and also used for wide openings, such as at staircases.

All Hauck child safety gates have a standard size of 75 - 80 cm and can be combined with a maximum of 2 extensions – one on each side. Additionally, the use of Y-spindles on round stair railings is possible. The Y-spindle replaces the adjustment screws of the safety gate.

This results in the following possibilities:

75 - 80 cm = standard safety gate size
96 - 101 cm = safety gate + 21 cm extension
105 - 110 cm = safety gate + 9 cm extension + 21 cm extension
117 - 122 cm = safety gate + 2 x 21 cm extensions.
