| Instructions for use | Make sure that the spout opening is open (the plug should not close the opening). Place the milk catcher between your breast and your bra. Check that your nipple is nicely centred in the opening.
Adjust the position of the container until you feel comfortable and then simply let the milk flow.
Remove the milk catcher when it is full or when you have collected the desired amount of milk. Empty your milk into a storage container or bottle. "Excess" milk can easily be stored in the freezer.
Clean after each use. We recommend cleaning Haakaa silicone products by hand with hot water and soap. The silicone may turn milky in the dishwasher. Do not use aggressive agents such as sterilising tablets or bleaching agents. Sterilise the Haakaa silicone products after each use, preferably in a steam steriliser or by boiling them in hot water for 2-3 minutes. Do not use UV sterilisers either, as they shorten the life of the products. |
