The nursing pillow Stars uses fine microbeads that are more comfortable, adaptable, completely odorless, and significantly quieter than conventional larger polystyrene beads. Untreated polystyrene contains harmful gases. The polystyrene used is treated and has the Öko-Tex Standard 100 label for babies. This label guarantees that the residual content of styrene and other volatile substances in this product is no longer detectable.
