Well-worked amber is not only a wonderful gemstone. It is also said to have a special healing power. As early as 1822, Ersch and Gruber reported on the preparation of ointments and tinctures from amber in their "Great Compendium of Knowledge". According to this, amber protects the wearer from gout and rheumatism, promotes digestion, helps with asthma, as well as against the pain of "teething children".

Amber necklaces should be rinsed regularly under cold, running water. The magnetic clasp, on the other hand, should be kept dry. For safety reasons, it is recommended to put the amber necklace on the ankle under the bodysuit of small children.
