Question about Samsung Eb-B600bebecww

The battery on mine says 17.03.2018. However, I am not 100% sure whether this is the date of manufacture. Presumably, the date of manufacture can be requested from the manufacturer via the S/N number. Of course, this doesn't help you much, because you don't have the S/N number before you bought it ...
