Question about Seagate BarraCuda
The HD is neither recognised by the notebook nor by the external adapter Sharkoon DriveLink. The same applies to the replacement that digitec kindly sent. Is it possible that an entire series of this device is faulty? They are probably being tested.

Mine runs great, but I've also had it for about 1 year. It is possible that there is a serial defect.
