Quick honest question... I'm thinking about ordering the Echo Dot (3rd generation) from Germany (on Amazon, to my German address...). Is something different with this one? Because if there was a Swiss version (which according to Amazon there isn't) I would definitely buy it here...

Hello I don't understand why there is no Swiss version. There is no difference in the devices but what I can recommend is to set the Alexa app on the phone in German and not Switzerland that saves a lot of nerves otherwise also has no effect on the phone according to my experience.

I think the only hardware difference is the power connection, I bought the Echo Dot 3 at digitec and set it up via the German Alexa app. It works without any problems.
