With an appropriate radio panel and the right adapter plugs, it should work. However, if the Mito still has steering wheel controls and sat nav, I would leave the replacement to a specialist (in this case, you would need the right interface modules and control units).
In my Zafira, I also had the specialist do it, but my DAB aerial and the PGS module were neatly installed behind the panelling. Usually takes about 3-4 hours.
