Is this the "ZW090-A" 2020 upgraded model  featuring compatibility with Raspberry Pi 4 ? (older version don't seem to work: https://popp.to/products/aeotec-z-stick-gen5-zw090)

Answer

It should work anyway. The problem was never the Aeotec stick it was a known USB problem of the Raspberry Pi 4.
I have an old revision of the Raspberry Pi 4 with that problem and solved it with a cheap USB adapter.

When you have a new Raspberry Pi 4, you should not have any problems with that stick.
