Is this really an OEM version of the 980 Pro and has no disadvantages compared to the 980 Pro? So same memory controller and same memory chips or however you should say that?
Also, you can't use Samsung specific tools like "Samsung Data Migration" because from Samsung's point of view it is not one of their official products.
As soon as there are bad sectors, nothing and no one can help you... Just happened to me...
So if you don't have anything special in mind with the SSD, but really just want to use it as a storage medium, it's 1:1 the same ssd, although I had 2050gb after installing it instead of 2000GB :)
The specifications are identical. But no highly optimised firmware is used. But the differences are minimal.
And of course, they don't get firmware upgrades for the OEM unless a fundamental flaw is found, but that is extremely unlikely.
