Is the shape and size comparable to the Apple Airpods? Unfortunately, you can rarely try on headphones anywhere and after the Jbl wave beam didn't fit my son, I don't want to take any more risks. My Airpods2 fit him.

my girlfriend also has Airpods and they are comparable in my opinion

I've been using the JBLs for a year and everything has been great. others have sometimes fallen out on the train, e.g. when changing trains! i.e. all the Samsung junk etc.

but just... it is of course extremely individual

To be honest, the earphones don't stay in the ear for very long. They are not protected by a rubberised membrane. They only serve as a backup for me.
