The NVIDIA RTX A400 (4 GB) is only worthwhile to a limited extent for image editing on a laptop. Although it supports up to four 4K monitors and is suitable for simple tasks in Photoshop or Lightroom, the small VRAM (4 GB) and limited computing power quickly set limits, especially for larger image files or video editing.
The card is intended more for office or multi-display setups than for creative workflows. For serious image editing, eGPUs with RTX 3060/4060 or RTX A1000+ would be significantly more powerful.
Conclusion: OK for simple image editing, not recommended for professional use.
