No, not out of the box, you need a bios update. But the update can be done without cpu or ram on the motherboard (you just need another pc to set up the usb key with the bios update from gigabyte's website)
When updating the bios using the q-flash plus feature make sure of the following:
a) the USB stick is formatted with FAT/FAT32 filesystem and it is fully erased (do not use quick format in windows 10).
b) the bios file needs to be renamed to "gigabyte.bin" and be in the root directory of the USB stick - it does not matter what other files the usb stick has.
c) you turn on the motherboard using the q-flash plus button (it is located on the motherboard itself)
d) the usb stick is inserted in the white usb slot - the one marked for q-flash plus
Note: unlike reviews/comments on the internet - it does not matter if you have peripherals installed or not.
