Is it difficult to format for Mac? Can there be problems with saving when working with Mac? Which external hard drive, pre-formatted for Mac can you recommend?

Basically, I recommend FAT formatting for compatibility on all platforms. However, if you intend the hard drive for MacOS use only, formatting for Mac filesystems only is also possible ^^
