Question about HP 178nw Colour Laser
If I place this printer on my shelf, I have exactly 6 cm left to open the top flap. Is that enough to insert a document and copy/scan?

For me it is 4cm. As long as they are A4 sheets you can put them in with feeling up to the stop. You'll probably be annoyed every time, but it works!
Yes, as the glass plate of the scanner is recessed by approx. 2 mm, sheets have an edge to which they can be aligned. However, there would be no room for thick books
