I would like to install the holder in a motor home. However, the clamp should not remain permanently on the iPad. Can the clamp also remain in the bird holder and can the iPad then be clamped into the holder reasonably easily in each case? Or does the principle rather envisage permanently attaching the clamp to the iPad?
The clamp does not have to remain permanently on the iPad. It can be removed and reattached relatively easily. If the clamp is not needed, you can leave it in the holder.
I have removed and reattached the clamp relatively often without any problems.
Yes, the clamp can be reattached to the holder after removal. The clamp can be pulled apart by hand with a little force. I would not do this too often, however, as the clamp is made of plastic.
