Question about Synology DS1821+
I would like to connect an external HD to the Diskstation to create a backup of the most important data on the NAS. Unfortunately, the existing USB interface is not the fastest. Is there a recommendation for an external HD?

Hi, there are USB3 ports that seem fast enough.
Otherwise, another minimalist NAS connected via RJ45 with synchro between the two.
